Easter 2013

We usually travel for some of Easter weekend to see my side of the family, but this year Easter weekend was so busy we stayed here! Friday night we took Molly to Mary Poppins, Saturday was Bret's NaNa's 85th birthday party (which we did not get any pictures of) and then Sunday was Easter Sunday.  We had such a great Easter Sunday with family.

The attempt of pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses.

Let the Easter egg hunt begin!  It had poured earlier that morning so we were afraid we would not have an egg hunt outside, but the weather turned nice and the girls got to enjoy some egg hunting.  It was just Molly, Hattie and Audrey.  Next year baby Andrea you will get to join in!

Coloring Easter Eggs

I debated on if we were even going to dye egg this year.  We don't really eat hard boiled eggs so they pretty much just get thrown out after it is all said and done, but I am glad we did!  It must have been a lazy day when we did color them because the girls are still in their pajamas.  Hattie could have cared less but Molly really kind of enjoyed the fun of it this year.

Mary Poppins Date with Our Little Lady

When we heard Mary Poppins was coming to Dallas Bret and I knew we wanted to take Molly to see it, so we got tickets the day they went on sale. We knew that she would just love it, ha!  Well leading up to the Mary Poppins show Molly would just casually tell me that she really did not want to go see it.  That she really did not like Mary Poppins.  I would always shrug it off and say "oh it will be fun!"  The day of the show Molly was very adamant about not going.  There were tears and everything.  I was seriously thinking that we were going to have to call someone last minute and give our tickets away or drag a crying kid in.  Bret talked to her and convinced her how much fun it would be so she changed her mind and wanted to go.  It was so nice to spend time with just Molly.  We went to dinner, then ice cream, and then the show.  It was so good!!  BUT really long for a 4 year old.  It was a great evening and Molly really enjoyed it.
