Fish Camp

This past Friday we, as in Bret's family, went out to Fish Camp in Royse City to celebrate his sister Abby's birthday.  We have been before but I did not take my camera so I made sure to this time.  It was a wonderful evening so we sat outside on the patio and listened to the band.  The GREAT part about this place is that while you wait for your food you can feed the fish or actually fish out of the little pond they have there, and since it is so open outside and kid friendly it is acceptable for antsy little toddlers to run around.

For the Record

I am blogging about this so that I have it in writing with date and proof of pictures that Molly let me put a clip in her hair and actually wore it for half the day!!!  Those of you that know Molly every time you see her, her hair is always flapping and hanging in her face and eyes because she LOATHES any type of bow or clip no matter what color, shape, or size.  She always runs away screaming then starts crying when you get it in and instantly pulls it out so of course it is not a battle I choose to deal with.  Don't get me wrong there were tears shed and hands having to be held down on this particular day that is going down in the record book but after the episode she was fine and left it in until she bumped her head and started rubbing it to realize it was still in and of course pulled it out, but that is okay with me.  She did wear it for a few hours.

Molly and Tilly

Molly and Tilly have a love hate relationship. Well Tilly loves her all the time it depends on Molly's mood if she likes Tilly. If Tilly has anything that Molly thinks she is not supposed to it is a guaranteed dislike. BUT if I am trying to put Molly down for a nap, Molly usually starts crying saying she wants to go see Tilly (i.e. get out of the room and nap time). Sometimes though Molly will be sweet and love on Tilly, it is kind of cute.

Before it started raining this evening Molly and I went out to enjoy the nice cool wind.

Bath Time Fun

Labor Day Weekend

We had a very peaceful and relaxing Labor Day Weekend that was also tons of fun. Our friends Drew and Christy invited us to go with them to his mom's boat house on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. The house boat was amazing and the scenery was wonderful. Not to mention the weather was nice. We swam in the lake, the girls "fished" off the deck, we took the deck boat out onto the lake, and ate amazing food all weekend. Great time!
