Somethings Missing

That's right Ruby the fish is with us no longer.  Molly was in bed when Bret and I noticed that Ruby was doing everything she/he could from going belly up so Bret just went ahead and flushed it.  It took Molly a couple of days to even notice that the fish was not in the aquarium.  When she did came the following questions:

"Wait,I don't see the fish."
"Mom where is Ruby?"
"Did Ruby jump out?"
"Did Ruby jump out by herself?"

Molly was always so worried that Ruby was going to jump out of the top when you opened the lid to feed her so she was just certain that was what happened.  When we told her that Ruby got sick and died she just said "okay."  If you ask her what happened to Ruby the fish she will even say "oh she got sick and died."  Glad she was not that attached!

3 Year Well Check

Weight:  40 lbs (90th %)
Height:  37 in (50th %)

Molly's 3 year well check went great!  She did so good and sat in the chair like a big girl while they took her blood pressure and checked all the other things they look at when you take them.  I felt so bad because we had talked about her not getting shots and that the doctor was just going to look at some things to see what a big girl she is now.  Wellllll of course we had missed a vaccination and so she had to get a shot.  She never knew it was coming because they came in so discrete with it (thank you to that nurse).  Molly just got right up on the table and I held her then she yelled "owwwww" and cried for just a little but as soon as we walked out of the room she stopped.  I am not so sure that she will go as willingly to the doctor the next time we need to go.

Happy 3rd Birthday Molly!

Today is miss Molly's 3rd birthday!  Where does the time go?  Since her birthday always falls around Father's day/my birthday/our anniversary we always just end up doing a small birthday with the families.  This year she had two parties.  One with my family and one with Bret's family.  As her birthday was getting close when people would ask how old she was we just had her say "I will be 3 in June."  Well when you ask her now she still says "I will be 3 in June."  Now we have to work on just saying "I am 3!"

Here are some pictures with my family.  Molly and I had gone down to Houston to visit my grandma one weekend and the rest of my family met us there so we decided to have a party.

She does not like to be the center of attention.

On Father's Day since all of Bret's family was together we had a party for Molly too.  Once again she hates being the center of attention so had me cover up her face till everyone was done singing.

I just have to brag on my brother-in-law Erik.  He made this bed for Molly!  Yes I said made!! Isn't it awesome.  He is very talented!

AnniBirthday and Father's Day = Busy!

Today was Bret and my 7 year Anniversary, my 30th Birthday, AND Father's Day!  Not to mention Molly's birthday is in two days.  Yes this time of June is busy.

For the AnniBirthday, as I like to call it, Bret surprised me/us with a night away at the the Gaylord hotel in Grapevine.  I had a wonderful massage and pedi.  Then we had a great dinner at a local Tex-Mex restaurant in downtown Grapevine, all kid free!!  Thank you to Bret's mom and dad for keeping Molly for the night.  This was the only picture I took of our time away.

Well I did get this picture of this classy tattoo on this lady :)

Sunday morning we got up checked out of the hotel and headed over to Bret's grandparents for a little birthday party for Molly (which I will post about later) and me plus Father's Day lunch.

Happy Father's Day to the best dad Molly could ask for!  I know that this new little one on the way will love him and adore him just as much!

30 Weeks

30 weeks and still doing great!  I went to the doctor today and every thing is looking good.  Baby girl, who still does not have a name, had a very loud strong heart beat.  The doctor did say for me to take it easy these next 4 weeks.  I have been having lots of braxton hicks which usually aren't an issue but he wants to be on the safe side.  I am not on bed rest or anything he just said don't go over board and pay attention if I am doing an activity that seems to cause more than usual to stop and rest.  He said once I reach 34 weeks I can have all the contractions I want, not that the doctor or I want to have the baby then!  By the way I took this picture myself on a timer, so this is the best you get :)

Meet Ruby or Max

I have had this fish tank in our garage for a while now.  I used to have it up in my classroom.  Well out of the blue Molly has been saying for several weeks that we need to get a fish to put in that aquarium, so we took Molly to the pet store to get her first pet.  We let her pick out the fish she wanted.  Okay so maybe after going through and pointing at all the pretty salt water fish we finally steered her away and she picked this one.  She named him Max and then changed it to Ruby (she loves the show Max and Ruby on Nick).  I think now she has decided to stay with Ruby, but every day is different.  We have had it a little over a week and Molly still loves to feed it and watch it swim around.  I wonder how long that will last.

Memorial Day and Playing At Work

I apologize that this post is not all that exciting, but sometimes we just don't have to many exciting things going on around in the Williams household.

We did not do much for Memorial day.  We had just gotten back after our week vacation of fishing with my family so we just hung out at home.  We got a blow up pool for Molly that we also enjoyed and tried to make it a little more exciting by putting her play set slide in it, which she loved.

After Memorial day I had to run over to my work in Dallas and switch out a few things but Molly got to come with me since I was not going to stay and work.  She has never been with me to my work location and for a reason.  When we got their the gym was set up and ready for classes to start next week.  She had so much fun playing.  I did give her a little PlayWisely private lesson, and she did not want to leave.  I felt kind of bad that I don't bring her to be in an actual class.  I do PlayWisely with her at home but of course it is not the same as playing in the gym.
