Wednesday was the last day of school and it also happened to be field day....say what!! It was a little chaotic at the beginning of the morning but it smoothed out and the kids of course had a blast. I think the busyness of the day also helped with the bitter sweet feeling of it being the last day/being the last day with this sweet class. The day just kind of came and went and I look up and we are out for the summer!! Now I just need to take it all in and enjoy my summer since it always flies by!

Dance Recital
Last weekend was Molly's first dance recital! She and her class did so great! I was not really sure how it was going to turn out since Molly has never danced on a stage in front of a bunch of people AND she had a stomach bug the day before the recital! I was worried she had worked all year for this and was not going to get to go, but she did and it was so sweet. She would not let us take a picture of her so we had to sneak in some shots.

Ladybugs!
Yesterday at school during recess there were tons of ladybugs everywhere! The kiddos found them and were giggling with excitement. It was so sweet so I had to join in and snap a few pictures.
This is my sweet class from this year. I cannot believe tomorrow is the last day of school!!! It has been a wonderful year with a great class AND great parents!

Mother's Day
Yes Mother's day was a couple a weekends ago but we did have a good time. We traveled down south to my parents for a long weekend. The cousins loved it! They played outside, helped feed the cows, played outside, and played outside some more.
This is what you look like when you play outside all day in the country......a hot mess.

This And That
I am doing pretty good getting out about one blog post a month. Here is a little of this and that from this past month.
Hattie finding the most unstable things to stand on.
Hattie refuses to eat yogurt with her spoon. Other things she will use utensils, but not yogurt, and by golly she will NOT let me feed it to her.
Molly started swim lessons and they are going great, and if any of you know the unreal fear of my child thinking she is going to sink to the bottom and drown(I am being serious) this is huge that she is still in the swim lessons.
Playing with bubbles.
Proof that Hattie let somebody pull her hair out of her eyes. Not me of course, it was the sitter.
Hattie got this ridiculous hat at Wal-Mart and was obsessed with wearing it. She wore it all day while we ran errands.
Still wearing the hat.
She would even nap with it. She would wake up, put it on, and then yell "mommy."
Molly had a dress rehearsal for dance and her big recital is coming up in a few weeks.
Hattie stuck a raisin up her nose! Luckily it was a raisin so we were able to get it out with tweezers.
Being sweet sisters.
Taking the girls to the park to play as much as we can so we can get out and pass the time till daddy gets home ;)
