Hattie Turns 2!!

I can't believe my baby is 2!  She is such a little toddler now and no longer a baby.  Part of me is so happy about that but then so sad at the same time........moving on......we had a little party with Bret's side of the the family this past weekend.  Hattie wasn't thrilled about the room singing to her but she tolerated it better than Molly always does.   She loved opening her gifts, especially anything associated with Bubble Guppies.  She is a little obsessed with that show right now.

By the way, we have finally found a house!!  I will post more about it later!

We Are Houseless!

That's right we are houseless!  Okay let me explain since I have not posted any update about this.

End of May beginning of June we decided, even though it was a very hard decision but would be better for our family, to move to Boerne which is northwest of San Antonio.  Bret's business has clients in San Antonio so he is going to go run that area and his business partner is going to stay and keep the Dallas area up and going.  We put our house on the market and it sold FAST!!  We were not expecting that!  However we still have not found a house in Boerne.  My mother and father in-law have been very gracious to let us live with them while Bret finishes up things here in Dallas and until we find a house. We are very excited about our new adventure but really sad to be leaving family and friends.

On one of our trips down to Boerne we took Molly and she LOVED staying in a hotel.  She never wanted to leave it.  This girl had the time of her life in the hotel.

4th of July 2013

We had a great 4th of July. We went to some friends house for great food, drinks,and conversation. It makes me sad that we will be moving (oh yes about that....I will post on that soon).  The kids had so much fun swimming, throwing poppers, and sparklers. As an added bonus on the way home we could see the Firewheel fireworks show. It was so close and Molly was in awe just watching it out her window.

Molly turns 5!!!

Where does the time go?? I cannot believe my girl is 5!! I know, I say that each birthday, but it is true!

We had two little parties.  One with my side of the family and one with my in-laws.  Molly's birthday was while we were on vacation.  If you read my previous post you saw I forgot my camera, so here is the one lonely picture of Molly from my phone.  She is always so thrilled to be the center of attention.

Annual Family Fishing Trip

June means lots of things for our family: birthdays, anniversary, father's day, watermelon jubilee, and the annual family fishing trip! I cannot believe I forgot my camera, so I did my best with taking pictures with my phone, which wasn't that great.  We had a great time with the family!

The cousins!  Poor Colton is out numbered, or CoCo as Hattie calls him but that's okay because he calls her Hattie Granny.  A little back story: her name is Hattie Jane which she was named after my Granny Jane therefore my nephew Colton calls her Hattie Granny.

The girls morning out fishing.  We caught more fish than the guys did......but then the guys went fishing further out and well they caught a lot.  By the way it is serious business when you fish with my dad (Papa Joe)

We did get the kids out for some putt putt, movies, and the beach.
