That darn dog

There are many days I think to myself "why do we still have this dog!"  It is just another thing I have to take care of, but I know if she was gone it would be a little sad but I know I would get over it very quick.  However I am not so sure Molly would.

This evening I was taking the girls for a walk.  Bret was working late so it was just us girls.  Molly opened the front door and Tilly ran out.  She does this sometimes and after running around like a crazy locked up dog (because maybe she is) she always comes back.  Well this time she took off down the street and around the corner.  Molly was yelling her name "Tilly!"  then looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "I don't have a dog anymore."  I put the girls in the stroller and we went looking for Tilly.  As we passed the houses on the street, which no one was outside, Molly would yell " People! Have you seen my dog!?!"  After  a few minutes, before we even got to the end of our street Tilly came running around the corner and ran up to us.  Molly looked at her with a smile on her face and said "Tilly, you fluffy white dog, where have you been?"

So I guess for now we will keep our fluffy white dog.  I mean we have had her for seven years!

That's hilarious - People! Have you seen my dog?!? haha!!!!! I can totally relate to everything about this post. Rosy, to me, is just another thing to take care of. and she can be just as pushy as the next 3-year old! but i'm sort of fond of her, if something happened, I'd be over it in record time. But...unfortuately, the girls adore her. :)

Out of sight, out of mind...right? She'd be sad for about a day and then get over it. I say, get rid of the dog!!
